AttorneysPrincipalPrior to starting her own firm, Daliah gained experience as a commercial litigator and negotiated settlement agreements on behalf of individuals sued by the Recording Industry Association of America. She also served as Vice President and in-house counsel of diLuce Productions, Inc., a Chicago based public relations and marketing consulting firm specializing in event production. Daliah is a member of the Illinois Bar and both the General Bar and Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Chicago Fashion Foundation, the Decalogue Society, the Standard Club, and IFP (Independent Feature Project). She also volunteers for Lawyers for the Creative Arts, Kartemquin Films, Chicago Filmmakers, Women in Film, and Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti Foundation. Finally, Daliah has extensive overseas experience, having studied at Fudan University in Shanghai and the City University School of Business in London. She speaks Hebrew and Farsi. AssociatesSURAJ JOSHI received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2007 and his B.S. in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Michigan in 2002. At DePaul, he received certification in Intellectual Property with a Patent Law Specialty and earned the CALI Academic Award in Entertainment Law. He was also the President of the South Asian Law Students Association at DePaul. His experience includes working at the Illinois Attorney General's Office. He is a registered patent attorney and admitted to practice in Illinois. JOSHUA ZATKIN-STERES received his J.D., cum laude, at the age of 22 from the University of San Diego School of Law, and received his B.S. in Political Science at the age of 18 from TODD SCHNITZER received his J.D., cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. in English from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997. At TJSL, Todd received a certification from the Center for Law, Technology and Communications, and earned the CALI Academic Award for Copyright and Legal Writing. His experience includes a legal clerkship in the Office of Policy & International Affairs at the U.S. Copyright Office. Prior to beginning his legal career, Todd worked as a music producer and composer for television advertising campaigns in Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice in Illinois. Clerks
ADAM URBANCZYK received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003 and expects to graduate from the John Marshall Law School in May of 2009. He is concentrating on intellectual property law and is on the executive board of his school's Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law Society. His legal experience includes commercial, professional licensure, and insurance litigation work with Augustine, Kern, & Levens, Ltd. Before beginning his legal career he worked for General Dynamics Lands Systems in Sterling Heights, Michigan in a multidisciplinary role as a Systems Engineer on a variety of defense-related programs.
CHRIS SORCE received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005 and expects to graduate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in May of 2008. He is concentrating on Intellectual Property law and is a member of the Case Community Development Clinic. His legal experience includes litigation work with Baker & Enright and patent prosecution work with the Intellectual Property Law Division of the United States Department of Energy. Before beginning his legal career he worked for ChemSensing, Inc., a producer of disposable sensors for detecting airborne compounds. BRANDON BROWN completed his first year at Tulane Law School, where is he was ranked in the top 5% of his class, served as an invited member of the Tulane Law Review, and earned honors in both Constitutional Law and Property Law. Prior to attending Tulane, Brandon earned an interdisciplinary degree in computer science and criminal justice from Boston University, for which he prepared and successfully defended a thesis on online peer-to-peer file sharing, entitled: “In Pursuit of a Free Internet: An Investigation into the Technological, Cultural, and Legal Causes of Online File Sharing and Copyright Infringement.” Brandon transferred to the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) this past fall. back to top
